 This seminar is relevant to NECA’s lost productivity study. Various options recognized by the courts for calculating lost productivity damages (for example, the total cost method, the modified total cost method, the measured mile, and the like) and update the attendees on recent case law regarding these methods.

Speaker Bio:

Gerald I. Katz, Esq. is a partner in the law firm of Katz & Stone, L.L.P., with offices in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland, and specializes in resolving construction disputes.  He has extensive experience in representing owners, contractors, subcontractors, sureties and designers in complex construction litigation throughout the United States.  Mr. Katz received both a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction and Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Virginia. He serves as an arbitrator on the American Arbitration Association Construction Industry Arbitration Panel. He has been named one of the top lawyers in the Washington, DC area by Washingtonian Magazine.

To avoid any confusion or problems at the state level, NECA strongly recommends you check with your state authority prior to the Convention to find out whether they will grant CEUs for management education programs held at NECA 2008 San Fancisco.
