Benefits and Applications of Electric Submeteres in the "Green Facility" Environment: E'Mon's presentation will first define electric submetering and its uses, including load profiling, cost allocation and tenant billing. Energy management of electricity, gas, water, BTUs and other measurement parameters are also discussed. A general overview of equipment, installation and operation will follow, against a backdrop of real-world facility case studies, focusing on cost-reduction strategies and energy savings opportunities through submetering. The presentation will also discuss how facility managers, through submetering, can maximize their operational dollar through LEED, EPACT, Demand Response, Renewable Energy and other sustainable facility energy initiatives impacting the facility bottom line.
